CP Sport Athletics

Training

Cerebral Palsy children from 11 years are offered the opportunity to attend winter training sessions with CP Sport at Loughborough from November to February.  Horizon had 2 athletes competing in 2009

Competitions

6 Grand Prix meetings take place throughout the summer, should athletes chose to compete at national level.  These events are potentially exit routes to the Paralympics.

Special Olympics UK Athletics

Children with a learning disability from 9 Years are offered SOUK training and competitions throughout winter and summer.

Horizon is affiliated to Special Olympics UK and has 9 athletes who have competed at national level over the last 4 years.
