Club Development 2009 - Tuesday, May 19, 2009

Plans are underway to develop the youth section.  Suggested sports are:

  • Trampoline.
  • Rugby.
  • Tennis.
  • Cycling.

These are only suggested as venues and coaches have to be sought.

Discussions are being held with Sir William Ramsay School to look into building a sunken Trampoline Hall.

 
Horizon Celebrated 10 Year Anniversary 5th December 2008 - Saturday, December 06, 2008

High Wycombe Parish Church was the venue for a family nativity.  It was performed by Horizon young members and was attended and enjoyed by over 150 people, a real baby Jesus and a sheep dog!  Many assistants came along to help the children and families.
 

 
The Buckinghamshire Foundation Grant - Sunday, August 10, 2008

In April 2008, the Bucks Foundation granted £10,000 to Horizon towards sustainable funds - this keeps the club afloat until January 2009.

 
Horizon 10th Year Anniversary Celebration - Sunday, August 10, 2008

 Horizon celebrates its 10 year Anniversary on the 5th December with a Family Nativity Service at All Saints Church, High Wycombe.

 
Future Club development plans - Tuesday, October 30, 2007

The Club currently has 40 juniors and 34 in youth sections. 

Waiting lists are growing and we envisage developing the youth section further by 2009. 

At present, we have no plans to develop the junior sections but, because of demand, we will review the situation in 2009.

The President, Lady Ann Redgrave, and Trustees are currently exploring club sponsorship and the Match Funding scheme to finance taking the club forward
