Youth Swimming                                                      Thursday 5.30 – 6.15pm

These classes, held at Wycombe Abbey, are very popular. We currently have 10 members coached by Jeanette Chippington and Rachel Sim who, with Wycombe Abbey Sixth Form girls, help to develop swimmers. Grades are available to those who wish to take them.

Gymnastics and Indoor Athletics                        Tuesday 4.00pm and 5.00pm

Recreational classes from 6 yrs to 11yrs. These are remedial classes for children with varied special needs and have a one – one assistance. They are equipped to encourage sporting and communication skills. Both sections work to develop hand eye co-ordination, bi-lateral interaction, special awareness and address many other disorders a child may need help with. The Gymnastic and Athletic sections are headed by Anita Templar and Julia Rudland and is designed to encourage basic sporting skills.

Tennis                                                                        Thursday 4.15 – 5.00pm

Tennis coach Hilary Evans is ably assisted by volunteers, Ann Herbert, Peter Dodds and Carole Hunt. This section has had far reaching results for the 9 – 10 year olds. They will have come initially through Gymnastics or Athletics and have learned their basic skills and are then ready to move on to rules, structure and experience in readiness for the secondary school experience.

Junior Swimming                                                    Wednesday 6.30 -7.15pm

Junior swimming is to give the more timid and challenging child water and general confidence. In time, each child is encouraged to move to land skills and, if chooses, to Youth Swimming or Football at a later date
